JBE Proud to Support Orion Spacecraft on Artemis II

As NASA’s Artemis II mission marks a historic return to crewed deep space exploration, JBE is proud to have supplied thermal seals for the forward, side, and docking hatch windows of the Orion spacecraft crew module, as well as for the launch abort system.

Artemis II is the first crewed mission of NASA’s Artemis program and carried astronauts farther from Earth than any humans in history, representing a major milestone on the path toward returning humans to the Moon and expanding the future of deep space exploration. Many of the remarkable images shared from the mission, captured through Orion’s windows, offer a unique reminder that every spacecraft component plays a role in enabling historic moments of exploration.

The Artemis II crew named their Orion spacecraft Integrity to reflect the trust, respect, and teamwork shared across the thousands of people who made the mission possible. In that same spirit, we would like to recognize our team members whose skill, precision, collaboration, and dedication made JBE’s contribution possible.

We are honored to see our work included in this historic mission and appreciate the opportunity to contribute alongside NASA, Lockheed Martin, and the many industry partners helping make Artemis II possible.
